Native Shrubs
Native shrubs form the backbone of a garden — providing structure, screening and year-round interest, while offering shelter, nesting sites and food for local wildlife. With options ranging from low, compact varieties to large flowering shrubs, they suit everything from small garden borders to expansive habitat plantings.
Many native shrubs flower seasonally, providing nectar for birds, bees and butterflies at different times of year, while dense-growing varieties offer valuable shelter for smaller wildlife. Others, like our range of wattles, bring vivid seasonal colour and are among the first plants to flower and feed pollinators each year.
All our native shrubs are grown from local provenance seed, so they're suited to the soils and climate of the Casey and Cardinia region.
Native shrubs are good for: screening and windbreaks, habitat and shelter, seasonal colour, revegetation and buffer planting.
