About Green Circle Plant Nursery
Hi, my name is Anita! I’m the owner of Green Circle Plant Nursery and proud leader of our ongoing role in local conservation.
Green Circle Plant Nursery began over 30 years ago as a passion project. It quickly grew into a working nursery supplying native, locally indigenous plants to home gardeners, conservation groups, councils and wholesale projects across the Casey and Cardinia region. At the heart of Green Circle Plant Nursery is the simple belief that healthy, diverse ecosystems start with the right plants, grown the right way — from local seed, suited to local conditions and grown with the wildlife that depends on them in mind.
Outside of the nursery, I enjoy teaching horticulture at TAFE, sharing everything I've learned about plants, propagation and sustainable growing with the next generation of horticulturists. I'm a creative and adventurous cook – I grow much of the food I use in my own kitchen creations. By far, my favourite role in life is playing Mumma to two beautiful kids and four beloved fur babies. When I get a quiet moment, you'll find me with a cuppa in my favourite sit spot, watching the birds and the clouds drift by.

Our native plants and animals have evolved together over millennia, shaping an ecosystem unlike anywhere else on earth — rich, resilient and worth protecting. I believe gardens can be sanctuaries: thoughtfully designed spaces that welcome both native and exotic species. And it's worth remembering — plants are wildlife too. Beautiful, diverse and ecologically vital.
